Monthly Discussion Forum

India 's true history, her glorious past, our rich culture and true meaning of our religion have been lost /destroyed due to various factors in the last millennium. Even though there are many groups of scholars who are excavating, repossessing and reviving our heritage there has not been enough public education on this. As a result we have only fragmented knowledge and many a times we question our own values and culture. In order to overcome this situation, group discussions are planned so that we become well educated on our culture, feel proud about our heritage and pass on the knowledge and pride to our children.

Scripture Classes

Vishva Hindu Parishad of Australia Inc. (VHP) is authorised by the Director-General's Consultative Committee on SRE, Department of Education and Training to teach special Religious Education on Hinduism in all NSW schools.

VHP has formed a committee to draft a syllabus from year 1 to year 10.

To become a volunteer scripture teacher for VHP one must meet the requirements of Department of Education and Training. Only VHP members can be given approval letters to teach Hindu Scripture classes. VHP seeks more volunteers to help in this cause.
