Vishva Hindu Parishad of Australia Inc.is authorised by the New South Wales Department of Education to teach Hindu Dharma classes in Public Schools as a part of Special Religious Education (SRE) program.

Currently over 80 Public & High schools in Sydney suburbs are covered under this program where nearly 25000 children learn Hindu Dharma every week.  Nearly 250 volunteers are involved providing this service through the educational wing of VHP of Aust (NSW).  Currently, the other states of Australia are in the process of obtaining this authorization.
